| Thursday, April 03, 2008 - AUSTIN!!! Well it's been a while, but Brad made it out to Austin a few weeks ago and just moved into his new apartment in the Arboretum section. As soon as he got set up, Brad put a few ads out for a drummer and so far the response has been overwhelming. Apparently there's a lot of freaking musicians to go around in Austin. He and Josh are planning to meet up with a few of these fine fellows in the next couple of weeks. They will report back to this website at once when they have found their man! To keep busy, Brad spends his time watching the Mets on shitty feeds from his pc. Oh, he also played two songs at the Cactus Cafe on the University of Texas campus. People ate up "They Don't Like My Singing." The song seems to be a real crowd pleaser in an acoustic/intimate setting. We are very proud to report that "I'm Gonna Change" will be featured on the hit TV show Cold Case. The song will air on this Sunday's episode, Feb. 17th, sometime between 9 and 10pm on CBS. I think that's channel 2 for most folks, or 8,000,002 if you have Hi-Def.
The peeps over at CBS told us that the song will get almost 2 whole minutes of airtime. Yay! Drinks on me!

Some Thoughts
Sometimes I wish I was a tortoise. They can live 180+ years because their vital systems don't weaken with age like ours do, they can survive for insanely long periods without food or water, and they can just sit for days on end if they feel like it. They are slower than molasses. Because they can go without food or moving for a long time, they have very low energy requirements. That's why you'll never see a tortoise eating a powerbar.
